BCT / O-Flights now back on for 13-14 Sep

posted Sep 5, 2013, 11:49 AM by Jeff Lariscy
Thanks to some hard work on the part of our Unit Commander, the previously scheduled Basic Cadet Training and O-Flights are now back on.

Please ensure your safety is current (this is a must). Each Cadet and Officer member will report to the Screven County Airport (Plantation Air Park) at 1700 hours on Friday September 13, 2013. Wear your complete BDU's for the weekend with name tapes and other required patches as well as rank on your uniform. (NO COMPLETE UNIFORM NO O'FLIGHTS OR PARTICIPATION.) Be prepared for staying overnight with the appropriate supplies needed. (Tent, sleeping bag and so on.) Any CAP gear like a 24 hour pack you need to bring with you. We will do flight line marshaling, ground team training, hands on CAP airplane familiarization and other training on this weekend. I will share more about this BCT weekend at Mondays meeting so please be sure you are at our meeting on Monday night. This is a great opportunity for everyone. I will also need a commitment for a count from everyone that is planning on going as well as a confirmation from our Officers.
